We are having a plated dinner and need a pretty accurate headcount. How can I organize and kindly have an A list and B list for my guests? So if someone on the A list can’t attend, offer their seat to someone on the B list. We have a strict cap on guest count to stick to our budget. My future husband and I have very small families and do not have a large friend circle. How do I lower my expectations a bit so that if we end up with very few people at our wedding it still feels like a celebration and a party?
